A bad scene at the Waseon race.

This hand shift Indian burst into flames at the start line. The race organizers supplied the wrong type of extinguisher for a gasoline fire (brilliant). The bike laid in a puddle of burning gasoline for what seemed like eternity. A fan even ran out and tried to drag it out of the flames. To add insult to injury the announcer played it off as good entertainment. The crowd was not amused. The police had to push back a few spectators that ran onto the track. The bike was finally put out by the owner/rider who ran to his pit and grabbed the proper extinguisher.
We ran across the bike the next day (top picture) in the pits and it cleaned quite well. The seat and tires were a little knarly but, the paint looked great!
