I still need to finish the welds. The next step will be to trim and turn the edges.
I took Dagger tools metal forming class last weekend. Great learning experience. The two and a half day class teaches you the basics of hand forming steel panels as well as some machine work.
I would highly recommened the class to anyone wanting to learn this quickly vanishing art. Craig offers several projects to choose from. I chose the 40 Willys rear fender (1/2 scale). He also has bucks for a Ford truck fender, MG front end, motorcycle tanks and what looked like a Cobra front end.
