My friend Al and I took a trip out to Faber Cycle yesterday. The owner Tom fixed the damaged casting on my fork and installed the new fork tubes. We had a great time talking about bikes, the shop and how a lot of the skilled trades are changing. Tom specializes in handle-bars but, he can fix or build just about anything. The bottom picture is Tom's 1939 WLDR that he road races. What a cool machine.
