Ab Jenkins.
Just watched a video on Netflix about Ab Jenkins. Amazing man. Started out making cross country speed runs for Studebaker. After making speed runs on public roads he switched to endurance runs on the old board tracks. When that got to dangerous because of the increase in speeds and the condition of the tracks he moved Bonneville. Ab was from Utah and became an ambassador for Bonneville. He convinced the fastest men of the day to come and run their machines on the salt. He ran Pierce cars until they went bankrupt during the depression. His next ride was with the Duesenberg brothers. The result was Mormon Meteor 1 and 2. The third Meteor was powered by a Curtiss Conqueror aircraft engine.

Brad's bike ran 131mph at the Ohio mile! Awesome bike. See more on his blog The Zon. That is the engine builder on the fender. Lurch.
