Custom 69 Vette.

This car was built in the early 70s by a good friend of my family.  He bought the big block new in 69.  The car was customized over several years and at one point sported an L-88!  The rear was shortened and the front was lengthened.  Flares were clayed up and molds made.  I really like the custom grilles in the nose.  As far as I know the car still exists with all its body mods although the current owner has threatened to return it to stock.

Pickett racing's 67 Vette.

God I love older Vettes modified for racing. Solid lifters, high compression, side-pipes, flares, its all good!

My dad's 65 Corvette.

My dad bought this 1965 coupe used in 1966.  It was born with the 327ci 365 hp engine and a 4-spd.  These pictures were taken in 1976 and 1977.  He added the big block hood, fender flares (Gratiot auto supply) and the front spoiler.  I believe when these pictures were taken the car had an LT1 from a early 70s Camaro.  He still owns the car but it now has some larger flares and a different front spoiler.  It has been painted a black cherry color.

Early racing Vette.

I have always wanted a straight axle Vette done like this.
