Update on my JD project.

I thought I would throw some parts on the frame just for fun.  Santa brought me a wiring harness, clutch disks, a lock ring for the rear brake drum and the control rods for the foot clutch and the shifter.  I ordered tires and tubes today from Coker Tire.  Hope to have the rear hub finished in the next couple days.  I can take the hubs and rims up to McRoberts and have them laced up.

Help identify.

Anybody recognize this?  A friend bought it at a flea market recently.  It is one piece cast and is very heavy.  Drafting weight maybe?
Answer:  My supervisor at work was a draftsman working on the board back in the 80s.  He remembers seeing these used as drafting weights as I thought.  The question remains, who styled them and who cast them?
