Flanders and E-M-F.
Walter Flanders had his hands on many different companies. He started out selling tools to and advising Henry Ford. Before not to long he was working for Ford full time. He was instrumental in increasing sales and streamlining production. He moved on to form the E-M-F car company with William Metzger and Barney Everitt. From there he took control of Studebaker. The Flanders Manufacturing Company was born on January 10, 1911. This company made the Flanders 4 motorcycle and supplied many parts for Studebaker cars.
The Flanders factory became the Wilson foundry sometime after 1912. The company moved to Detroit and went bankrupt in 1914
