Benelli progress.

I have been bouncing around with different projects lately.  The Benelli seems to be my main focus.  Maybe because it runs!  I picked up an NOS fork for it.  That should be installed by tomorrow evening.  After polishing the old hubs I laced them to some Akront style rims with Buchanan spokes.  New tires, tubes and rim strips.  The old side cover had some striped holes so I found a replacement on ebay and put my Benelli badge on it.

Custom 69 Vette.

This car was built in the early 70s by a good friend of my family.  He bought the big block new in 69.  The car was customized over several years and at one point sported an L-88!  The rear was shortened and the front was lengthened.  Flares were clayed up and molds made.  I really like the custom grilles in the nose.  As far as I know the car still exists with all its body mods although the current owner has threatened to return it to stock.

1922 Harley Davidson.

Very cool bike for sale on Ebay right now.  They are just calling it a racer.  Like my build it has a trans so it can't be a proper boardtrack bike.  Merkel style fork is a cool addition.  Odd paint color.

Home brew dirt tracker.

Looks like he is wearing an Indian sweater.  I don't see anything Indian on the bike though.

Boardtrack style.

Swamped..

Another photo from Argentina.  Former GP car being run by a privateer judging from the miss-matched tires and shabby wind-screen.

Race car photo from Argentina.

Looks a bit ahead of its time being so long and low.
